In January and February 2017 I had the pleasure of working with Buí Bolg in Wexford, Ireland, making puppets, props and costumes for St. Patrick's Day parades in Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny and Wexford. It was a great experience and involved things like: making headpieces for St.Patrick's costume (or costumes, as there was a hundred of them to be made!), patterning, cutting and assembling sheep costumes and making "fake legs" for them, designing, patterning and making shoes for said legs, patterning huge "gloves" for a giant (not a thing you do every day, huh?).
